The "Ventilator Management Workshop for the Intensivist” is the official ventilation management workshop for the CCCS. This workshop is designed for critical care trainees and consultants in clinical practice. The curriculum will cover the “basics” of ventilator settings and pressure controls.  It will also cover more challenging scenarios often seen in the ICUs such as patients who are hypoxemic and approach to difficult to ventilate patients.

June 6 - 7, 2019 - the canadian critical care review program - toronto, ontario 

The Canadian Critical Care Review Program is the official educational conference for the CCCS. This program is designed to meet the educational needs of practicing intensivists and the Canadian Critical Care trainee and addresses the clinical challenges faced both during the Royal College Fellowship Examinations and in professional practice. This year the program will be held in Toronto from June 6 to June 7, 2019 at the Old Mill Toronto.

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) is the National Specialty Society, representing Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine physicians in Canada. The practice of Critical Care Medicine in Canada is multidisciplinary and CCCS members hold base specialty certification in anaesthesia, medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine or surgery and some surgical subspecialties such as cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
