Active Member - $350.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Individual persons who are licensed doctors of medicine or surgery by the nature of their training (e.g. RCPSC Critical Care Medicine subspecialty) or their clinical expertise (e.g. neuro or cardiac critical care) and are staff members of a public hospital with responsibility for the care and treatment of critically ill patients within Canada. Active Members are voting members.

Intensivist Affiliate Member - $150.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Individual persons who are licensed doctors of medicine who have completed sub-specialty training in critical care medicine or other clinical expertise (e.g. neuro or cardiac critical care) and are staff members of a hospital with responsibility for the care and treatment of critically ill patients in facilities outside of Canada. Affiliate Members are non-voting members.

Non Intensivist Associate Member - $75.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For PhD scientists with an interest in critical care research, nurse practitioners, nurses, dieticians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, pharmacists, physician assistants and other physicians. Associate Members are non-voting members.

Resident or Fellow Affiliate Member - $50.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Individual persons who have received a doctor of medicine or equivalent degree and are completing sub-specialty residency training in critical care medicine in preparation for certification by the Royal College of Physicians a nd Surgeons of Canada or completing a fellowship in critical care medicine at a Canadian university . Affiliate Members are non-voting members.

Student Membership - $25.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments For health profession students enrolled in accredited college or university programs. Student members are non-voting.

Retired Intensivist Affiliate Member - $100.00 (CAD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments An individual persons who were licensed doctors of medicine who have completed sub-specialty training in critical care medicine or other clinical expertise (e.g. neuro or cardiac critical care) and were staff members of a hospital with responsibility for the care and treatment of critically ill patients. About the Association

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) is the National Specialty Society, representing Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine physicians in Canada. The practice of Critical Care Medicine in Canada is multidisciplinary and CCCS members hold base specialty certification in anaesthesia, medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine or surgery and some surgical subspecialties such as cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
