Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Accreditation Application

Submitting Your Application Package:

  1. All documents listed below are REQUIRED and must be included with the complete application form.
  2. Applications should be submitted as early as possible before the event’s start date to allow sufficient time for a complete review.
  3. Each item is to be sent as its own attachment, clearly named, and numbered.  For example: “4. Budget_ABCMeeting2024”. Acceptable document formats include Word (.doc/.docx); PDF (.pdf); Excel (.xls/.xlsx).
  4. Once we receive your completed application and supporting documents, we will send you a notice of receipt of submission within 72 hours of submission and an invoice to pay for the application fee.
  5. Applications will not be reviewed until all documentation and the application fee are received.
  6. The application fee is non-refundable even in the event the application is declined.

Application Fee Structure

  • Section 1 Approval - $750 ($500 non-refundable) + tax
  • Section 3 Approval - $1250 ($1000 non-refundable) + tax

*Applicable taxes will apply. 

*Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the CCCS

*All applications require a non-refundable application fee; there are no refunds if the application is declined or ineligible.

About the Association

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) is the National Specialty Society, representing Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine physicians in Canada. The practice of Critical Care Medicine in Canada is multidisciplinary and CCCS members hold base specialty certification in anaesthesia, medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine or surgery and some surgical subspecialties such as cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
