Call for Nominations: Meetings & Liaisons Chair

We are excited to announce two opportunities for dedicated individuals to lead our critical committees within the Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS). These esteemed roles include membership on the CCCS Board of Directors and the chance to make a significant impact in various areas of our organization.

1. Chairperson, Liaisons Committee: The Liaisons Committee plays a pivotal role in advancing collaboration in critical care. The Chairperson will lead this team in providing strategic guidance for the successful conveying and sharing of ideas to, and between, regions and other organizations. (Read Terms of Reference)

2. Chairperson, Meetings Committee: The Meetings committee advises the CCCS Board of Directors on issues related to pertinent conferences/meetings/courses/educational sessions that may be beneficial to the society and its memberships, in particular those events that do not fall within the mandate of other standing committees.(Read Terms of Reference)

How to Nominate: We invite CCCS members to nominate highly qualified individuals for these essential positions. Self-nominations are encouraged.

The Canadian Critical Care Society (CCCS) is the National Specialty Society, representing Adult and Paediatric Critical Care Medicine physicians in Canada. The practice of Critical Care Medicine in Canada is multidisciplinary and CCCS members hold base specialty certification in anaesthesia, medicine, paediatrics, emergency medicine or surgery and some surgical subspecialties such as cardiac surgery and neurosurgery.
